Adopt-a-Mural: Leave Your Legacy on the Greenway
Thank you for your interest in supporting public art in Germantown!
The Wolf River Cultural Greenway is a crown jewel of our community’s active lifestyle. Phase 1 of this project brought 8 stunning new murals along the trail. To ensure our public art program thrives without relying solely on grant funding and city funds, we are inviting local businesses, outdoor organizations, families, and individuals to become Founding Partners by adopting one of these completed masterpieces.
Why Adopt a Mural?
With a $1,500 investment, you directly offset the artist fees for your chosen mural, proving to city leadership that our community deeply values public art. To respect the natural beauty of the greenway, commercial logos are kept off the trails. Instead, sponsors receive high-prestige, elegant recognition:
Name Plaque: A beautiful, weather-resistant plaque installed near your adopted mural featuring your name or business name.
Digital Prominence: Your logo and a link to your website featured on the official Germantown Public Art webpage.
Future Greenway Maps: Name/Logo inclusion on the upcoming Wolf River Cultural Greenway printed and digital trail maps (launching in the next 8–12 months).
Phase 2 Grand Celebration: Prominent recognition as a "Founding Partner" at our major community event next year, celebrating the completion of both the murals and our upcoming sculpture installations.
Sponsorship Term & Legacy
To ensure our public art program remains dynamic and properly maintained, each Adopt-a-Mural sponsorship carries an exclusive 3-to-5-year term. During this time, your name will be proudly displayed on the trail plaque. As a founding partner, you will always be recognized in our digital archives, and you will receive the "first right of refusal" to renew your sponsorship or support future greenway art phases when the term concludes.
*** Note: While we anticipate these murals will beautify the greenway for up to a decade, physical outdoor artwork is subject to natural wear and environmental factors. Cycling sponsorships over a 3-to-5-year period ensures the city can fund future public art initiatives.
