Join Us as a Spectator!

Didn't snag a carving slot? You don't need a registration ticket to join in on the fun! The event is completely free and open to the public as a full community spectator experience.

Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair, gather your friends and family, and come enjoy a picturesque autumn evening at Municipal Park. Mid-November weather in Germantown is dreamy, making it the perfect setting to hang out with neighbors, grab a bite to eat, and watch live public art in the making.

What You Can Experience as a Spectator:

• Watch Live Foundry Action: See master artisans from the Metal Museum operate their active Mobile Foundry, heating and pouring liquid aluminum live on-site.

• Behind-the-Scenes Preview: Get an up-close look at the physical artifacts, sculpting tools, and original molds used to create the nine bronze wolf sculptures hiding across Germantown this Thanksgiving.

• Food & Community: Grab dinner, drinks, or snacks from the Monkeygrass Mayhem food truck stationed right in the park.

• Date: Friday, November 13, 2026 (Rain Date: Friday, November 20, 2026)

• Time: Drop in anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

• Location: Municipal Park (1900 S. Germantown Rd.), parking lot south of the Athletic Center pool entrance next to the John Gray House

• Cost: Free admission for all spectators!
