SHELBY CANOPY (FALL 2023 - SPRING2024)
Shelby Canopy: Our Shared Connection was a public art project that aimed to raise awareness of our community's natural resources, foster connections between Shelby County residents and our green spaces, and advance regional understanding of the importance of trees. This project included the presentation of two temporary artworks: The Blue Trees Environmental Art Installation by international artist Konstantin Dimopoulos and Tree Tones by local artist duo Belleau + Churchill.
Shelby Canopy: Our Shared Connection was produced by the Germantown Public Art Program and supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Germantown. Project partners include The Wolf River Conservancy and the Germantown Parks and Recreation Department.
