Description:
Peace on the River is a meditative depiction of the Wolf River at sunset, featuring key animals from its ecosystem. The composition aims to draw the viewer in, evoking the peaceful feeling of floating down the river and experiencing the surrounding wildlife. The featured animals include the Great Egret, Barred Owl, American Beaver, and Black Swallowtail butterfly.

Artist: Charlie Forrester
Charlie Forrester is an accomplished mural artist in the Memphis area creating large scale public art for local businesses and schools like Central BBQ, Kroger, Memphis Animal Services, Renewal Church, Libertas of Memphis Montessori Schools, and KIPP Memphis.
Charlie has been instructing students on the finer points of Visual Art for more than 12 years. The past year he has headed the Central High School art program and previously headed the Overton High School visual art department CAPA program. Charlie lives and works in Memphis with the support of his wife and four children.
