Designed to be mobile, the mural will rotate between city buildings and community events, serving as an engaging visual landmark and gathering point throughout the year.

Sean Coffey

Artist: Sean Coffey

Sean Coffey is a multidisciplinary artist based in Memphis and founder of The Coffey Shop—a full-time creative studio focused on murals, sculpture, fine arts and interactive space design. With a background in industrial design and experience as an architectural product engineer, Coffey’s work blends structure with imagination. His art often fuses street-art aesthetics with organic themes, drawing inspiration from the energy of the places he visits.

Coffey’s recent projects include a 680-foot mural in Fort Pierce, Florida; a large-scale underwater sculpture titled Pirate Shipwreck for Florida’s Underwater Museum; and seven murals commissioned by the Steel City Arts Foundation. His metalwork is currently on display at the Nashville International Airport. In Memphis, he is leading a community design initiative in Coro Lake to reimagine public spaces with new signage, a pavilion and a cohesive design vision for the area.
