Wolf LIke Me (2026)
Wolf like me (2026)
Artist: Taylor Shaw (aka LAZERCHEF)
Medium: Paint on Concrete
Location: Kimbrough Greenway Trailhead , 8108 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN 38138
Description:
This mural draws from the natural and cultural history of the Wolf River. The canine figure represents not only the wolves that once roamed Memphis but the Chickasaw people who lived in this region, referencing “Ofi’ Tohbi’,” the Chickasaw term for “white dog.” Native elements like wild bergamot and the endangered naked sand darter reflect the river’s ecology.
This project is funded by the Germantown Public Art Program
