Behind the Green Curtain (2026)
Behind the Green Curtain (2026)
Artist: Adele Ferguson
Medium: Paint on Concrete
Location: Kimbrough Greenway Trailhead , 8108 Wolf River Blvd, Germantown, TN 38138
Description:
Behind the Green Curtain highlights the variety of natural beauty within the Wolf River Watershed. The design features flora and fauna found along the Wolf River, such as the rare copper iris, the marbled salamander, and the great egret.
The larger-than-life-sized animals invite the viewer into their world, encouraging people to consider these animals more than one typically would in passing. Hopefully, after seeing this mural, viewers will cross the threshold of the tunnel and step into the greenway with newfound empathy for the creatures who call the Wolf River home.
